South American and Brazilian Championship 2012 announcement

It is with great pride that once again I come to announce a great event in Rio de Janeiro.

Rio de janeiro has taken the responsability, after Sergio from Vitoria city and Juliano from Belo Horizonte city had given up for hosting and organizing both the Brazilian Championship and

South American Championship VTES 2012.

I've been researching for two months about locations, tickets and prices in order to make the event the most fun and atractive as possible. I also spoke with most of the active princes from Brazil and it was checked the best way to gain attention of players that live in far brazilian locations, like Manaus city (2718 miles) and Curitiba city (530 miles) from Rio de Janeiro.

Due the sucess of the Brazilian Championship in Rio de Janeiro last year, many people have confirmed their presence with eyes closed, therefore, I needed to find a bigger house in order to keep comfort and tranquility of all participants.

This year, the event will take place in the city of Araruama, an inner city of Rio de Janeiro state, between november 14 and 18, taking advantage of the brazilian republic proclamation holyday. The house is in front of the Araruama lagoon and is close to the main beaches of the region like Cabo frio, Arraial do Cabo, Buzios, Saquarema and Praia Seca.

Also, the house has a pool, barbecue, snooker, kitchen and bedrooms with fridge, tv and sight to the lagoon. In order to promote the event, I created this blog which I'll post details on the event, the house, and many other topics related to VTES. 

To have some of the event details, such as location, values, dates, transport and some other places that might be of interest, I  translate some parts of this site to english (with help of Thiago Sousa), hoping attract some players from outside the country this year.
